Drum trucks offer a safe and easy solution for the transportation of drums. Aluminium drum trucks are non-corrosive and lightweight, they also resist sparking. All surface areas that contact the drum are aluminium, preventing the steel against steel spark in Zone 1 environments. Load and unload without touching the drum using the automatic chime hook. Standard chime hook suitable for steel drums, others available on request. Drum trucks are available with or without brakes. Stop and brake over heavy drums by using the two wheel brake system. Activate brakes, and the truck frame becomes a lever over the fulcrum of the stopped wheels, making load brake over safe and easy. Braking pressure is variable and equal on both wheels to assure safe speed control on inclines.
